Product Designer

Lead the design process end-to-end for Apaleo's hospitality tech platform, focusing on user-centered design and AI integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design process end-to-end from understanding user needs to crafting delightful, intuitive experiences.
• Turn complex system challenges into clear, elegant, and human-centered design solutions.
• Apply design thinking and data-informed insights to solve real problems for hoteliers, operators, and travelers.
• Communicate ideas visually and clearly from low-fidelity sketches and wireframes to high-fidelity prototypes.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and fellow designers to shape new features and improve existing ones.
• Conduct and analyze user research and usability testing to validate and iterate on designs.
• Advocate for the user by asking the right questions, challenging assumptions, and balancing business goals with user needs.
• Continuously evolve as a designer while helping elevate the design culture at Apaleo.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in product design (UI/UX) for web and mobile, ideally in SaaS or platform products.
• A strong grasp of user-centered design principles, user research, and usability testing.
• Strategic thinking and understanding of the impact of design decisions on business.
• A portfolio showcasing design process, problem-solving skills, and visual clarity.
• Expertise in AI and its application in design workflows.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Business fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
