Responsibilities
- Lead and execute complex design initiatives that span multiple product areas, ensuring alignment with Coinbase’s strategic goals
- Collaborate cross-functionally to drive and shape product vision and strategy
- Define and inform the user experience of critical customer journeys
- Partner with Design Systems teams to create scalable patterns and components
- Conduct in-depth analysis of user needs and business requirements
- Participate in all project phases, ensuring design excellence
- Act as a thought leader in product design, mentoring other designers
- Experiment with and apply emerging AI tools to accelerate design workflows
Requirements
- Expertise in Product Design: 10+ years of professional experience designing consumer-facing products for web and mobile
- Systems Thinking: Proven ability to design at scale, creating reusable patterns and components
- Collaboration and Influence: Strong ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders
- Strategic Impact: Experience driving design strategy and contributing to product roadmaps
- Technical Proficiency: Fluency in Figma and prototyping tools, experience with user research
- Low Ego, High Impact: Collaborative, open-minded, eager to transform complexity into simplicity
