Moon is looking for a UI/UX Product Designer with strong 3D design expertise to help shape a next-generation 3D design tool across iOS and web platforms.
Responsibilities
- Design and prototype user interfaces for professional 3D design and visualization software for iOS and web.
- Ensure design clarity and performance across complex, tool-heavy environments.
- Work directly with 3D assets (GLB, OBJ, etc.), adjusting materials, lighting, and textures as part of design exploration.
- Collaborate with engineers and 3D specialists to define workflows for importing, editing, and visualizing 3D models.
- Create or modify 3D assets and textures to support interface and feature development.
- Conduct user testing to evaluate usability and refine interaction patterns.
Requirements
- 5+ yrs of product design experience
- Strong portfolio showcasing product design work for 3D, creative, or technical software across iOS and web
- Experience with 3D tools such as Blender, Cinema 4D, or similar for editing assets and textures
- Familiarity with real-time 3D formats (GLB, GLTF) and material workflows
- Deep expertise in Figma and component-based design systems
- Comfortable designing for complex, multi-layered interfaces and precision-driven workflows
- Detail-oriented, technically curious, and passionate about the intersection of product design and 3D creation
- Experience designing and running A/B or concept prototype tests independently
- AI agentic design experience a plus
