Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design innovation from conceptualization to execution
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring transformative ideas to life
- Create compelling design deliverables that make complex workflows feel intuitive
- Drive user-centered design decisions powered by data and insights
- Own the UX of emerging experiences with impact across Amazon
- Create user-centered designs by considering market analysis, data, customer feedback, user research and technical constraints
- Quickly and thoroughly create user flows, wireframes, design mockups, and prototypes
- Thoughtfully simplify and distill complex processes into intuitive and elegant UI
- Establish and maintain detailed user-interface patterns and specifications
- Communicate complex, interactive design concepts clearly and persuasively
- Partner closely with other product and design teams across Amazon
- Mentor up and coming talent
Requirements
- 10+ years of design experience
- Experience with best practices for User Interface Design, Information Architecture, and Interaction Design
- Experience in life cycle design projects from design strategy through execution
Key Skills
- Proven track record of innovative design leadership
- Comprehensive understanding of web technologies and design best practices
- Exceptional ability to translate complex technical requirements into seamless user experiences
- Experience designing and prototyping with tools such as Figma
