Design user interfaces for educational analytics dashboards and conduct user research to understand educator workflows. Create wireframes, prototypes, and establish design systems for consistent user experience.
Responsibilities
- Design user interfaces for attendance, activities, admissions, and academic performance dashboards
- Conduct user research with early adopter schools to understand educator workflows and pain points
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and detailed design specifications for development teams
- Establish design systems and component libraries for consistent user experience
- Collaborate with Product Manager on feature prioritization based on user needs analysis
- Ensure accessibility compliance (WCAG standards) for educational technology users
- Design data visualization approaches that make complex analytics actionable for non-technical users
Requirements
- 3-5 years of UX design experience with: Design Tools: Expert proficiency in Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD; Prototyping: Interactive prototype development for user testing; User Research: Interview facilitation, usability testing, survey design; Data Visualization: Understanding of chart types, dashboard layout, and information hierarchy; Experience designing for complex data-driven applications or analytics platforms; Knowledge of responsive design principles and mobile-first approaches; Understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices
- B2B SaaS application design experience, preferably in EdTech or analytics platforms
- Experience designing for educators, administrators, or other professional user groups
- Portfolio demonstrating dashboard and data visualization design capabilities
Key Skills
