UX Designer_New York/Chicago/Dallas

The UX Designer will collaborate with engineers and product managers to gather user requirements and create user-centered designs. They will also conduct usability testing and work within an Agile/Scrum environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers and product managers to gather user requirements
• Create user-centered designs by understanding business requirements, the voice of the customer, user journeys, customer feedback, and usability findings
• Create a cohesive style guide to ensure consistent design language is followed across the product
• Create prototypes, wireframes, and mock-ups to demonstrate the functioning and layout of the product
• Conduct usability testing to identify gaps in design and see if they can be further improved
• Stay current with new UI/UX developments and techniques
• Test applications for usability, in partnership with stakeholders and users
• Work in an Agile/Scrum environment, participating in and contributing to the ceremonies and processes (daily stand-ups, code reviews, sprint retrospectives, etc.) that keep the process continually improving
• Work on a development team which may include other technical professionals, subject matter experts, project stakeholders, and executive leadership

Requirements

• Fluency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Illustrator, Photoshop
• Experience with prototyping tools like InVision, Axure, Framer, Principle, Figma
• Experience with collaboration tools like Abstract
• Experience with communication platforms like Microsoft Teams
