Hybrid Full-time Lead
OCLC is looking for a Lead Experience Designer to improve usability, ease of use, and enhance appeal of products or services through user-centered interaction and visual design methodology.
Responsibilities
- Connect key groups of people, Research, Experience, Business teams to deliver the work and socialize it.
- Develop scenarios, navigation models, and prototypes for demonstration of concept.
- Create detailed UI designs with accessibility in mind and collaborate with engineers to bring it to life.
- Provide feedback on other associate's designs and deliverables across the business.
- Partner and collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams throughout all stages of the user-centered design process.
- Collaborate with UX Research on research plan, stakeholder interviews, user interviews, and capable of running ad-hoc user research as required.
- Facilitate design thinking and ideation sessions.
- Comfortable engaging with internal and external customers, reflecting OCLC values.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in responsive design, visual design, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience with responsive design and related best practices.
- 7+ years of experience creating UX deliverables such as wireframes, user flows, user journeys, sitemaps, personas, high fidelity designs, Figma prototypes, etc.
- Highly competent using Figma, Miro, Microsoft office software.
