UI / UX Designer Intern

Assist in creating wireframes, prototypes, and user interfaces for web and mobile applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user requirements and iterate on designs based on user needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the creation of wireframes, prototypes, and user interfaces for web and mobile applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and marketing teams, to understand and define user requirements
• Conduct user research, analyze user feedback, and iterate on designs based on user needs and business goals
• Contribute to the development of style guides, design systems, and UI standards
• Support the senior designers in creating engaging visual designs that align with brand guidelines
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and provide creative input for new projects and features
• Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience shipping multiple initiatives as a UX / Product Designer in an agile environment
• Experience in user-centered design and design thinking with hands-on experience throughout the process, from problem definition to developing stunning prototypes and collaborating on implementation
• Experience using qualitative and quantitative data to inform design decisions and validate solutions
• Familiarity with emerging technologies, particularly AI and machine learning, and how they can enhance both design workflows and user experiences
• Strong customer empathy and an aptitude for problem-solving
• Understanding of information architecture, design patterns and systems, and interaction design
• Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to the team and customers
• Good at relationship building and able to deal with feedback from various stakeholders
• A system thinker, able to see the big picture as well as being able to break things down into reusable components and MVPs
