The UI/UX Designer will research and design end-to-end user experiences while working in cross-functional teams to implement design ideas into prototypes and products. They will also conduct product inception with product owners to understand requirements and enhance products through user feedback.
Responsibilities
- Research and design end-to-end user experience
- Work in cross-functional teams to implement design ideas into prototypes and products
- Develop and implement processes and guidelines for User Experience
- Conduct product inception with product owners to understand product requirements
- Develop empathy with users and create usable products through design principles
- Conduct focus group discussions and usability testing with citizens
- Work closely with development teams to ensure design specs are implemented
- Create overall branding and style guides to supplement prototypes
Requirements
- Strong background in Human Computer Interaction, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as a UX Designer, Interaction Designer or related
- Strong online portfolio of past works demonstrating expertise in creating user-centric designs
- Experience in planning and conducting user research, analyzing data, and communicating insights
- Experience with UX design best practices, mobile-first and mobile responsive designs
- Experience in HTML, CSS3 or JavaScript
- Ability to convey ideas through storytelling, storyboards and mood boards
- Good problem-solving aptitude and analytical mind with business acumen
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
