Senior Product Designer, Containers

A Senior Product Designer role at Datadog to design elegant and delightful products for container observability, collaborating with engineers and product managers.

Responsibilities

• Work with product managers, engineers, and data scientists to understand customer needs
• Turn insights from user research into ideas, sketch and prototype, and ship products and features
• Become an expert in your product area
• Communicate design work and decisions across the company
• Work closely with engineering teams to understand how designs will be built

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in digital product design
• Portfolio includes a proven track record of shipping visual and interaction design work in web applications
• Excellent visual and written communicator
• Experience with advanced prototyping tools (e.g. Figma, Protopie, Principle, Framer, Sketch)
• Understanding of systems thinking and component-based design patterns
• Ability to give and receive feedback well
