Georgia-Pacific seeks a UX Designer to design innovative ways to communicate insights to the CSC and its partners, focusing on user-centered design solutions.
Responsibilities
- Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers.
- Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to inform design decisions.
- Create user personas, journey maps, and storyboards to visualize user interactions.
- Design graphic user interface elements such as menus, tabs, buttons, and widgets.
- Develop wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes that illustrate functionality and aesthetics.
- Build page navigation structures and ensure intuitive user flows.
- Translate complex requirements into elegant, user-centered design solutions.
- Present design concepts and prototypes to internal teams and stakeholders.
- Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g., responsiveness, accessibility).
- Iterate on designs based on user feedback and usability test results.
- Develop and maintain consistent style across apps, including fonts, colors, and imagery.
- Stay current with UI/UX trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve design quality.
- Collaborate closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of design systems and style guides.
Requirements
- Practical experience with Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD or similar.
- Experience working with web and mobile platforms.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, including fluency in English.
- 3+ years of experience in UI/UX design, interaction design, or related field.
Key Skills
- Ability to understand business goals and metrics.
- Problem solving skills to overcome interface challenges.
- Project management experience with ability to effectively prioritize work.
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS and JavaScript.
- Experience leveraging AI to assist with design process.
