Senior Product Designer

Lead the creation and maintenance of the Legacybox Design System while designing consumer-facing features for web and mobile apps. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive and engaging user experiences.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain the Legacybox Design System, defining components, patterns, and guidelines that ensure consistency and delight.
- Establish principles for motion, typography, color, and tone that reflect the warmth and trust of our brand.
- Partner with Engineering to align Figma libraries with code implementations and ensure fidelity between design and production.
- Document design decisions clearly and set up contribution workflows for designers and developers.
- Mentor peers and promote a high standard of design quality across the product organization.
- Lead the design of consumer-facing features that help customers browse, relive, and share their digitized photos, videos, and audio recordings.
- Produce intuitive, polished interfaces, from onboarding to playback to sharing.
- Create and maintain responsive, accessible Figma prototypes for web and mobile.
- Advocate for experiences that spark engagement and discovery, not just functional utility.
- Partner across teams to unify the app experience with marketing, packaging, and customer communications.
- Conduct or contribute to user testing, motion studies, and experience reviews to refine how memories are presented and shared.
- Stay current on design trends in consumer media, photo/video viewing, storytelling, and digital preservation.
- Bring creative energy and optimism to a product that means something deeply personal to our users.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience designing consumer-facing apps with rich visual and interactive elements.
- Proven expertise in building or maintaining design systems in Figma.
- Strong foundation in interaction design, accessibility, and visual design principles.
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks (React, Tailwind, or similar) and component-driven development.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally and drive alignment.
- Deep appreciation for photography, video, and audio as storytelling media.
