A Graphic Designer to produce graphic design elements and layouts for marketing assets at Takara Bio USA.
Responsibilities
- Provide graphic design and layout for a diverse range of marcom projects
- Create high impact campaigns designed to meet marketing goals
- Actively measures the impact of campaigns and recommends changes
- Work proficiently using a variety of design and marketing tools
- Use content management system and provide design guidance and support for the corporate website
- Develop content and images for web pages for the website and Intranet
- Make recommendations for improved use of content management system
- Research and learn current and new graphic design techniques, formats, and trends
- Develop and recommend implementation in support of marketing campaigns
- Complete projects and build marcom templates in alignment with the corporate style guide
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and take responsibility for project timelines
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Information Graphics, Web Design or Digital Media and a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or 3 years with a master’s degree; or equivalent work experience
- Thorough understanding in graphic design principles and production methods for digital media, web, print collateral, and advertising
- Excellent skill and understanding of typography and graphic design
- High proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Dreamweaver, and Acrobat)
- Moderate proficiency with basic HTML5, CSS3
- Knowledge of modern web development practices: responsive design, general html5 features including html5-based animation, web fonts
- Ability to communicate clearly in verbal and written communication
- Ability to learn quickly and tenacity for excellence in design and visual communication
- Preferred proficiency or familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud: Premiere Pro, After Effects, and other applications
- Drupal, WordPress, or other content management systems (CMS)
- Marketo or similar email and marketing automation platform
- Digital Asset Management systems or image/project cataloging practices
- Experience with mobile phone/tablet app design a plus; UI/UX design
