UI/UX Designer (Keralites only)

A UI/UX Designer role in Calicut, Kerala, focusing on creating functional and user-friendly interfaces for web and mobile applications.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers to understand user requirements and translate them into functional user interfaces
• Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas and gather feedback from stakeholders
• Develop visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces using tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, or Figma
• Implement responsive design principles to ensure optimal viewing experiences across different devices and screen sizes
• Optimize web and mobile applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate front-end components with server-side logic
• Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to iterate and improve interface designs
• Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in UI/UX design and front-end development
• Ensure compliance with web standards, accessibility guidelines, and cross-browser compatibility

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Design, or a related field
• 1-3 years of experience in UI/UX design and front-end web development
• Strong knowledge of UI/UX design principles, information architecture, and interaction design
• Experience with responsive design techniques and frameworks
• Solid understanding of cross-browser compatibility and accessibility standards
• Familiarity with design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, or Figma
• Ability to create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes using design tools
• Strong attention to detail and ability to create visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces
• Knowledge of web performance optimization techniques
• Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git)
