As a Senior Product Designer, you will own the design for a core product area and shape the full user journey across mobile and web. You will collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to deliver polished, reliable solutions that enhance user experience.
Responsibilities
- Own the design for a core product area. Shape the full user journey across mobile and web, from early exploration to final polish
- Bring clarity to complexity. Translate real operational challenges into workflows and interfaces that feel effortless and purposeful
- Advance Flip's design system. Strengthen the foundations that make our product cohesive, scalable, and accessible
- Leverage AI in your process. Use AI-powered tools for ideation, rapid exploration, and research synthesis to design smarter and faster
- Validate through insight. Collaborate on research, analyze data, and test assumptions to ensure design decisions are grounded in evidence
- Partner for outcomes. Work closely with PMs, engineers, and customer teams to balance usability, technical feasibility, and business goals
- Elevate the craft. Contribute to design standards, coach peers, and shape how we work as a design organization
Requirements
- 5+ years of product design experience in SaaS or complex, multi-platform environments
- A portfolio that demonstrates systems thinking, strong interaction design, and depth of reasoning behind your decisions
- Proven experience designing for mobile (iOS, Android) and web, with a focus on performance, usability, and accessibility
- Mastery of Figma and fluency in modern design workflows, including prototyping, documentation, and developer collaboration
- Curiosity and confidence using AI-assisted design tools for ideation, content generation, and user insight synthesis
- Clear and structured communication, with the ability to articulate design rationale across disciplines
- Experience collaborating in cross-functional squads in hybrid or remote setups
- Fluency in English is a must; German is a plus
