The UX Writer will develop user interface text and collaborate with various teams to create intuitive user experiences. They will also conduct content audits and improve content based on user feedback.
Responsibilities
- Write and develop user interface text (microcopy) including buttons, labels, tooltips, notifications, and error messages, FAQ, etc in Indonesian and English.
- Collaborate with UX Designers, Product Managers, UX Researcher, and Developers to create seamless and intuitive user experiences.
- Understand complex concepts quickly and explain them simply.
- Maintain a consistent voice and tone that aligns with the brand identity and product goals.
- Conduct content audits and participate in user testing to evaluate the clarity and impact of UX copy.
- Develop and maintain a content style guide or voice & tone guidelines for product communication.
- Translate complex concepts and technical details into simple, human-centered language.
- Contribute to brainstorming and ideation sessions for new product features or communication flows.
- Continuously improve content based on user feedback, data, and usability testing insights.
Requirements
- Experienced in UX Writing/Localisation/Technical Writing
- Speaks and writes native-level Indonesian and professional English & Mandarin Chinese
- Has knowledge of localisation strategies
- Is autonomous doer who can lead localisation and magnify its impact
- Highly curious with a value for user research and learning through experimentation and testing
- Ability to manage multiple task and project deadlines simultaneously
