As a UX Writer, you will collaborate with UX designers, product owners, and developers to create engaging content that enhances user experiences. You will write clear and concise text for web applications, ensuring that the content aligns with user needs and expectations.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate Creatively: Work closely with UX designers, product owners, and developers to ensure that every piece of content aligns with the overall user experience and product vision
- Craft Impactful Text: Write clear, concise, and engaging text for web applications used by millions of people across the globe, making complex ideas easy to understand
- Write in US English: Develop original copy that speaks directly to users, enhancing their journey and guiding them through our applications
- Support Global Communication: Collaborate with translators across 10+ languages, providing context and insights to help them accurately convey the intended message in different cultures
- Iterate and Improve: Continuously refine and enhance content based on user feedback and usability testing, ensuring that our messaging remains relevant and effective
- Champion User-Centric Content: Advocate for the user by ensuring that all written content is intuitive, accessible, and aligned with user needs and expectations
- Present with Purpose: Share your content strategies and writing proposals with stakeholders, articulating the rationale behind your choices and how they enhance the user experience
Requirements
- Phenomenal Writing Skills: Exceptional writing abilities in US English, demonstrated through a strong portfolio showcasing your work
- Experience in Software Development: Proven experience working on software development projects, understanding the nuances of creating content in a tech-driven environment
- User-Centric Mindset: A passion for understanding user needs and translating them into effective content that enhances the overall experience
- Collaboration Skills: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages creativity and innovation
