The UX Writer will gather and analyze data to identify user needs and recommend improvements to web products. They will also collaborate with teams to validate new products and enhance the user experience.
Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze quantitative and qualitative data using internal reports to determine trends, discover unmet user needs, and recommend improvements to our web products
- Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and user testing to find opportunities for product differentiation and inform project plans
- Collaborate with other team members to validate new products and elements that enhance the user experience
- Research and propose user acquisition strategies to expand reach and drive growth
- Identify checkout flow improvements and monetization opportunities to increase revenue
- Create complex plans that champion new products and impactful features based on research findings
Requirements
- Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Business, Library Science, Law, or other relevant fields
- Experience planning, leading and executing projects that involve multiple teams or areas
- Ability to communicate complicated information in a succinct way that users and internal stakeholders can understand
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to navigate setbacks and find workarounds when needed
- Ability to suggest new ideas and identify high-value products and features
- Understanding of conversion optimization, consumer psychology, and online marketing
Key Skills
- Knowledge of UX/UI best practices
- Knowledge of business and marketing best practices
- Bilingual in French, German or Spanish
