Sr. Product Designer, Growth & AI (Sprout)

Lead design for how new users get started with Zapier, crafting experiences that help customers discover the platform's capabilities. Collaborate with cross-functional partners to define strategy and execute on high-leverage opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Lead design for how new users get started with Zapier, crafting experiences that help customers discover what's possible through intelligent systems, example use cases, and onboarding flows.
• Design automation kits tailored to specific roles, creating shareable AI-powered templates and designing ways to highlight them across surfaces, including SEO-optimized landing pages.
• Collaborate deeply with cross-functional partners, working closely with PMs, engineers, researchers, data scientists, and marketers to define strategy and execute on high-leverage opportunities.
• Balance exploration with execution, experimenting quickly, testing ideas, and iterating while holding a high bar for usability, quality, and craft.
• Bring ownership and curiosity to ambiguous problems, helping define the roadmap, shape customer experiences, and unlock growth in new areas.
• Contribute to design culture and systems, influencing design standards across the Growth Zone and broader org, and help evolve Zapier's design system.

Requirements

• 6+ years of product design experience, with a focus on Growth.
• Led initiatives across onboarding, activation, engagement, or retention in SaaS or enterprise environments.
• Portfolio showing polish and impact, with strong UX thinking, refined UI, and a clear link between work and business/user outcomes.
• Systemic thinking, able to zoom in to details while thinking holistically about the customer journey.
• Ability to take bold swings and bring others along, enjoy generating big ideas, storytelling your vision, and rallying cross-functional teams.
• Self-directed and action-oriented, quick to explore, eager to ship, and driven by curiosity and impact.
• Use data, research, and instinct to inform decisions, blending quantitative and qualitative inputs.
• Move fast without cutting corners, account for edge cases, accessibility, and interaction details early in the process.
• Elevate the team, foster collaboration, improve process, and help build an inclusive and high-performing design culture.
