UX Researcher, (B2B Experience Required)

Lead end-to-end research projects and mentor junior researchers while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Present findings to senior leadership and advocate for user-centered design throughout the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end research projects, from planning to synthesis and presentation.
• Design and execute complex studies using mixed methods.
• Mentor junior researchers and promote research best practices.
• Collaborate with product, design, and analytics teams to align research with business goals.
• Present findings to sr leadership and advocate for user-centered design.
• Develop research frameworks, templates, and standards.
• Stay informed on industry trends and emerging research methodologies.
• Contribute to strategic planning and roadmap development.
• Support the design team by executing a fast turnaround research program. This includes recruiting users, conducting usability tests, and providing quick, lightweight reports.
• Establish and maintain clear communication channels with cross-disciplinary partners. Ensure that research requests are well understood and that insights are shared openly and transparently.
• Conduct primarily qualitative research, with the ability to understand and integrate quantitative data. Experience with user testing platforms and lightweight usability testing is essential.
• Set clear expectations around impact tracking, ensuring that the outcomes of research are well-documented and communicated. Provide feedback on UX changes, business changes, and research findings after each cycle.
• Synthesize insights from various data sources, including data science and product team inputs. Create impactful and useful reports that highlight key themes and findings.
• Actively participate in team meetings and support the broader team. Demonstrate strong storytelling skills to convey research findings effectively.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in UX or product research
• Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative research methods
• Experience with research tools and platforms
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Experience in healthcare or government sectors (preferred)
• Certified UX Researcher or similar certification (preferred)
• Experience with service design or systems thinking (preferred)
• Proven ability to influence product strategy through research (preferred)
• 1+ years of experience leveraging AI tools in the software development (or product) lifecycle in order to improve quality and efficiency (preferred)
