Senior UX Researcher
Exact Sciences • Cambridge, United States of America 🇺🇸
Assist in the identification, planning, and execution of qualitative and quantitative research methods to understand user needs and identify experience improvements. Work closely with cross-functional partners to contribute to digital product creation and advocate for the UX vision.
Responsibilities
- Assist in identifying, planning, and executing qualitative and quantitative research methods
- Translate business needs and stakeholder requests into research objectives
- Help synthesize research results and prepare impactful presentations
- Create personas, scenarios, storyboards, conceptual models, journey and experience maps, service blueprints
- Demonstrate empathy for users, stakeholders, and colleagues
- Work closely with UX Research Manager and cross-functional partners
- Contribute to digital product creation and support implementation and post-implementation testing
- Apply strong problem-solving, analytical, and creative skills
- Apply strong organizational and time management skills
- Uphold company mission and values
- Communicate with designers about stimuli created in tools like Figma
- Support and comply with Quality Management System policies
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance
- Develop an understanding of accessibility best practices
- Advocate for the UX vision of patient and provider experiences
- Act with an inclusion mindset
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in HCI, Psychology, Human Factors, Engineering, or related field; or High School Degree/General Education Diploma (GED) and 4 years of relevant experience
- 2+ years of experience working as a UX Researcher or equivalent role
- Ability to learn and implement various UX research methodologies
- Effective communication with cross-functional teams
- Ability to understand and break down complex business operations, customer journeys, user needs, and workflows
- Experience with UX research methods like usability studies, contextual inquiry, or surveys
- Understanding of exploratory and evaluative UX research
- Comfort with moderating and/or notetaking during usability sessions
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship

- Proficiency in communicating user research findings
- Working knowledge of design tools like Adobe Suite, Figma, Sketch
