Senior UX Researcher

The Senior UX Researcher plans and executes research activities to solve complex problems and translate data into actionable insights. They collaborate with product teams and mentor junior researchers while maintaining high standards of research quality and speed.

Responsibilities

• Plan UX Research including business goals and market needs, design experiments, document methods, recruit subjects, prioritize tasks, schedule methods, champion new methodologies, scope research efforts, evaluate previous work, plan research with speed, accuracy, quality, and autonomy.
• Execute UX Research Methods including stakeholder interviews, collaboration sessions, usability tests, task analysis, surveys, web analytics, heuristic reviews, field research, maintain timeline, inform stakeholders, pivot from original plan, document and organize data, collaborate with teams, execute methods with speed, accuracy, quality, and autonomy.
• Research Analysis including qualitative and quantitative data analysis, map findings to business goals, translate insights into recommendations, measure and interpret data, influence measurement of experience, demonstrate synthesis and analysis with speed, accuracy, quality, and autonomy, tie insights to measurable business outcomes.
• Reporting and Presenting Findings and Recommendations including summarizing research findings, creating research artifacts, building reports, communicating findings, support presentations, lead narrative creation, demonstrate reporting and presentation methods with speed, accuracy, quality, and autonomy, demonstrate strong storytelling and situational adaptability.
• Lead and Inspire Others including mentoring, coaching, developing UX Researchers, function as a general resource, assist management in training new hires.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 5 – 7 years related work experience.
• Experience mentoring & developing others.
• Google Analytics as an additional certification/license preferred.
