Senior Motion & Graphic Designer

Assist the Head of Brand and Creative and Design Lead in managing video and graphic projects while maintaining high creative standards. Collaborate with teams in the UK and India to create compelling video and graphic content aligned with the strategic vision of the EQ brand.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head of Brand and Creative and Design Lead in managing video and graphic projects in the UK and India
• Maintain and uphold high creative standards across all projects
• Monitor the review channel and actively participate in peer reviewing to ensure quality control
• Evaluate and revise design processes in collaboration with the Head of.. to improve efficiency
• Participate in daily resource huddles to optimise team operations
• Participate in inbox shift and contribute to efficient work allocation
• Adhere strictly to brand governance and standards to maintain consistency
• Adhere to brand communication and risk policies
• Complete compliance training within the designated time frame
• Support and mentor the India and UK teams
• Actively participate in team meetings to contribute ideas and insights
• Create video and graphics aligned with the strategic vision of the EQ brand
• Stay updated with emerging technologies in design and innovation
• Interpret the business needs of clients and develop creative concepts through to the final output
• Work on strategic client communication to effectively convey messages
• Design high-profile campaigns, video and motion graphics
• Inspire, mentor, and train less experienced team on video production and storyboarding
• Design assets for social media platforms to enhance brand presence
• Meet with clients and internal stakeholders to understand requirements
• Participate in EQ collaborations and sharing sessions to foster learning
• Attend stakeholder meetings to provide creative input and insights
• Embody company values and foster team spirit within the company

Requirements

• Natural eye for design and ability to generate dynamic ideas that resonate with both B2B and B2C audiences
• Good knowledge of various design mediums
• Proficient in Adobe Suite
• Strong understanding of the Microsoft Suite
• Ability to interpret briefs, stay organized, and manage projects from start to finish
• Senior-level experience creating storyboards from animation and video production from a script
• Strong visual storytelling

Key Skills

• Strong understanding and working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud; Premiere Pro; After Effects; InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat
• Excellent typography skills
• Clear and compelling written and verbal communication
• A foundational understanding of UX principles and accessibility best practices across digital touchpoints
• Filming, running filming sessions, and setting up for filming sessions
• A flair for presenting
• Able to create data visualisation
