The Principal AI Product Designer will explore, inform, and influence the solutions built with customers, ensuring products are human-first in supporting business outcomes. This role involves collaborating with customers and Microsoft teams to develop AI-supported solutions.
Responsibilities
- Explore, inform, and influence solutions built with customers
- Ensure products and solutions are human-first in their support of business outcomes
- Work closely with Microsoft Data Scientists, Program Managers, and Engineers
- Carry out design research to uncover unstated needs and help define customer solutions
- Guide customers' AI endeavors
Requirements
- Strong human factors, design research, and product design skills
- Business acumen to understand customer problem spaces
- Experience in working with data to infer insights
- Familiarity with responsible AI
- Experience understanding and managing expectations across a varied, cross-functional landscape of stakeholders
