Graphic Designer Pre-Press (gn)

The Graphic Designer Pre-Press is responsible for managing print orders, preparing print data for various printing processes, and ensuring quality through preflight checks and color accuracy. Additionally, the role involves optimizing workflows and participating in the development of team processes.

Responsibilities

• Independently place orders and check data for print orders.
• Prepare print data for different printing methods (Flexo, Offset, Digital, etc.).
• Create and optimize print data according to technical specifications and internal guidelines.
• Conduct Preflight-Checks and resolve any issues.
• Prepare and conduct release processes.
• Accompany print inspections (e.g., proofs, digital proofs) and ensure color accuracy.
• Actively contribute to the further development and optimization of team processes.

Requirements

• Completed training as a Media Designer (Digital and Print) or a similar qualification.
• Several years of professional experience in Prepress, Graphics, or a similar field.
• Very good knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and DTP software and prepress workflows.
• Ability to work independently, precisely, and quality-conscious, with a team spirit.
