Senior Graphic Designer, Marketing & Events (UAE National Only)

The Senior Graphic Designer will develop artwork for various mediums while ensuring adherence to Masdar's visual brand guidelines. Responsibilities include managing design jobs, coordinating with stakeholders, and preparing reports as required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all design jobs adhere to MASDAR’s visual brand guidelines
• Develop, enhance, edit and finalize any amendments to the brand guidelines
• Develop new logos, advert, artworks based on new projects and initiatives that are launched and develop brand guidelines
• Ensure that all jobs, photos, logos, collateral etc. are properly archived in the system
• Brainstorm with the team and think creatively to produce new concepts and mocking up design ideas
• Present ideas and adjust concepts to achieve the desired communication goals of the collateral produced
• Remain abreast and knowledgeable of the latest design programs and coordinate with the ICT departments
• Ensure development of collateral including but not limited to brochures, flyers/HTML, animation, mailers, outdoor branding, signage, promotional materials, advertisements
• Establish production timelines and delivery schedules that meet agreed upon delivery requirements, working with other agencies or other vendors to complete the final product
• Ensure that design jobs are delivered in a timely manner with the highest quality possible
• Coordinate with various designers within the organization to ensure that no work is duplicated and that production of design jobs is optimized at all times within MASDAR
• Build and maintain a network of relevant contacts to support daily activities and long-term objectives of the team
• Engage with and monitor relationships with internal and external stakeholders in order to ensure adequate knowledge transfer and completion of services as per agreed parameters
• Apply consistent approaches/discipline and standardized forms in line with relevant policies, processes and procedures
• Prepare relevant reports and updates as required and to the desired standard
• Provide management information as and when required by the line manager
• Adhere to any applicable Masdar information security policies and procedures and identify and report security incidents and suspected weaknesses to the appropriate point(s) of contact

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field
• 8-10 years of experience in graphic design
• Experience working on Adobe collection (Photoshop, Illustrator, In-design) and Adobe Flash, Animation
• Advanced communication skills in English and Arabic (verbal and written)
• Good project management skills
• Strong research and analytical skills
• Excellent computer literacy, with strong background in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Excellent ability to plan and organize work
• Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work
• Attention to detail
