Shape the user experience by defining problems and turning ideal experiences into testable solutions. Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners from early exploration through launch to shape product direction.
Responsibilities
- Shape the user experience. Work with cross-functional partners to define problems, connect insights to strategy, and turn ideal experiences into testable solutions.
- Design end-to-end. Move fluidly between scrappy prototypes and polished UI, bringing the right fidelity at the right time to make complex ideas feel simple.
- Balance data and intuition. Collaborate with Research and Analytics to test, learn, and measure impact, and know when to trust your gut.
- Collaborate for cohesion. Work with fellow designers to keep the system clear, consistent, and aligned with our shared vision.
- Raise the bar. Contribute to systems, rituals, and critique culture that make our collective work better.
Requirements
- 6+ years solving complex problems, balancing user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
- A portfolio that shows strategic thinking, measurable impact, and visual polish.
- The ability to turn ambiguity into action by asking questions and defining clear next steps.
- A systems mindset—designing with the bigger picture in mind.
- Curiosity and collaboration. You build momentum by bringing people along and see feedback as fuel.
- Comfort balancing research, data, and intuition in your design decisions.
- Confidence through change—you handle ambiguity with steadiness and humor.
- Fluency in Figma and modern prototyping tools that help you think and communicate ideas clearly.
- A genuine curiosity about how people learn, share, and make meaning from information.
Key Skills
- Fluency in Figma and modern prototyping tools
- Experience with UGC, search/SEO, or recommendations (bonus points)
- Familiarity with AI-assisted experiences (bonus points)
