The Figma UI/UX Designer will collaborate on a mobile-first eCommerce project, creating developer-ready UI layouts and interaction specifications. The role involves working with provided wireframes and an existing design system to deliver high-quality designs.
Responsibilities
- Create developer-ready UI layouts and interaction specifications using provided wireframes, sitemaps, and an existing design system foundation
- Work on core pages including Home, Product Listing Page, Product Detail Page, Cart, Checkout, and Account
- Design mobile-first → Tablet → Desktop layouts with motion-driven hero sections
- Implement voice search overlay with mic animation states
- Create product “Share” row with SMS, Messenger, WhatsApp, Copy Link (with toast feedback)
- Ensure WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility compliance
- Set up Figma design system (components, tokens, grid, breakpoints)
- Create analytics tag map (event names and triggers only)
- Work directly in the Figma workspace (Editor access only)
- Weekly email check-ins, with optional quick calls as needed
- Deliver Figma source file (.fig), component library and design tokens, motion references or Lottie files, accessibility verification summary, and developer-ready handover (redlines, motion notes, documentation)
Requirements
- Expert in Figma (components, auto-layout, motion prototypes)
- Strong sense of visual hierarchy and interaction/motion design
- Proven eCommerce or marketplace design experience
- Ability to produce developer-ready design systems
- Deep understanding of mobile-first design and WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility standards
