Mid-level UI Production Designer

Blink is hiring a UI/UX designer to ensure pixel-perfect design files for development, maintain design systems, and collaborate with product managers and engineers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain organized, production-ready Figma files and uphold strong file hygiene practices
• Act as final design checkpoint, ensuring accessibility, responsiveness, and alignment with brand standards
• Prepare and polish final design files for development handoff
• Partner with developers post-handoff to review builds, flag design QA issues, and guide in-dev refinements
• Serve as a go-to expert on design system and toolkit
• Implement and extend design system components, spacing, and visual patterns
• Collaborate with design system and engineering partners to maintain visual and functional consistency
• Contribute to system documentation and education
• Translate UX flows and product requirements into refined, visually engaging UI designs
• Create and iterate on high-fidelity mockups, prototypes, and design specs in Figma
• Respond to feedback with a refinement mindset
• Identify opportunities to streamline production processes and elevate design consistency
• Contribute to shared best practices and advocate for design system-driven efficiency

Requirements

• Strong visual design and layout skills with an exacting attention to detail
• Deep proficiency in Figma, including component creation, variants, and library management
• Demonstrated experience working with or contributing to a large-scale design system
• Understanding of responsive design and how to optimize for multiple platforms
• Experience collaborating directly with product managers and developers through delivery and QA
• Clear communication and a collaborative, team-first mindset
