The Principal Product Designer will establish design as a strategic function and create exceptional user experiences across the product suite. This role involves leading design strategy across cross-functional teams and pioneering AI-powered user experiences.
Responsibilities
- Define and communicate overall design vision and strategy
- Lead end-to-end design process from research to implementation
- Design groundbreaking AI-powered user experiences
- Collaborate with product management and engineering leadership
- Establish user research practices and customer feedback loops
- Define and track key design metrics
- Pioneer design patterns for cutting-edge AI/ML features
- Provide guidance and develop skills of fellow designers
- Serve as senior design voice within the company
- Partner with leadership team on product strategy
Requirements
- 8+ years of product design experience, with significant leadership experience in B2B SaaS products at senior IC level
- Proven track record of building design systems and scaling design functions at high-growth, venture-backed companies
- Strong experience designing AI-powered products
- Demonstrated ability to design complex, enterprise-level interfaces
- Advanced user research and analytical skills
- Excellent stakeholder management and influence skills
- Experience building and leading high-performing design teams
- Portfolio demonstrating strategic systems thinking
- Track record of driving measurable business impact through design
