The Community UX Designer will lead design work at the project level, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance streamer and viewer engagement experiences. They will also mentor junior designers and present their work to executive leadership.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional development team of product managers, engineers, and designers
- Learn from streamers and viewers about their use of services and desires
- Think creatively about solving problems for streamers' communities
- Use and improve existing patterns and approaches
- Combine qualitative and quantitative information to develop hypotheses about customer motivations
- Present work in design reviews and feedback sessions
Requirements
- 5+ years of design experience
- 3+ years of delivering design solutions as a UX or interaction designer
- Available online portfolio
- Experience prototyping (HTML, XHTML, JavaScript, CSS, Flash, Flash Catalyst, or Axure)
- 2+ years of mass-market consumer web/mobile products experience (preferred)
- Experience working in a collaborative team and directly with developers (preferred)
