You will explore, ideate, and create customer-centric experiences while overseeing the strategic remit of UX components and patterns. Your role includes conceptualizing, designing, prototyping, and testing ideas to support user goals and business requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Explore, ideate and create customer-centric experiences that are both intuitive and functional
  • Take on complex UI patterns and interaction problems providing innovative solutions that will serve key core revenue goals
  • Oversee the strategic remit of our components, UX patterns and system-of-systems strategy
  • Design new patterns for our core design system, creating libraries, and communicating potential solutions to other UX design teams
  • Conceptualize, design, prototype and test ideas via Figma while ensuring those designs support user goals and meet the overall business requirements
  • Generate detailed UX guidelines
  • Proactively solicit feedback from others and offer thoughtful critique that helps elevate the work of those around you
  • Articulate UX design rationale, putting the customer experience first and tying your decisions to project goals and experience strategy
  • Collaborate in a cross-functional capacity working closely with the Web Marketing team building relationships with other designers, front-end and back-end developers

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles
  • Interaction design
  • Interest in the technical aspects that bring designs to life
  • Ability to communicate and translate ideas to the team
  • Ability to lead and champion collaborative design techniques
  • Portfolio demonstrating conceptual skills and knowledge of UI/UX design principles for Enterprise websites, online community portals, e-commerce, or product interface design
