The Graphic Designer 1 will develop and design digital and print materials for marketing and branding initiatives. This role involves collaborating with other designers and the marketing department to create compelling campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and designs all internal and external digital animation, marquee, kiosks, website, web banners, social media messages, promotional drawing displays, e-blasts, and other gaming-related digital components throughout the casino
  • Designs print collateral as needed
  • Performs regular review of all creative messages for usability, adherence to brand standards, and accessibility; continually looks at best practice enhancement to keep all digital messages fresh and technically current
  • Understands print production and proofing process
  • Develops and maintains creative asset library
  • Maintains brand standards across all projects
  • Responsible for maintaining the flow of projects and meeting deadlines
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members, and Management in both written and verbal form
  • Responsible for always practicing, supporting, and promoting Gun Lake Casino Resort’s “4 Diamond Service Standards”
  • Maintain a high level of personal integrity on and off duty
  • Practice teamwork, support fellow Team Members, and create an energized, positive, team-oriented work environment
  • Interact with Guests in a friendly and courteous manner and handle all Guest opportunities promptly
  • Must be able to effectively communicate both written and verbally with Guests, Team Members, and Management
  • Maintain excellent grooming and uniform standards
  • All other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Must be 21+ years of age
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university with a concentration in Graphic Design, Computer Science, Marketing, or related field required. Experience in lieu of education may be considered
  • Minimum one (1) year of verifiable employment experience in the field of graphic design
  • A submission of a portfolio or list of URLs is required
  • Work experience in the gaming or hospitality industry is preferred
