Senior Graphic Designer & Digital Content Specialist

The Senior Graphic Designer & Digital Content Specialist will implement brand design across the business by creating and managing content for online platforms. This role involves both creative direction and hands-on design execution, including refreshing brand identity and producing marketing materials.

Responsibilities

• Implements Marketing and Advertising campaigns; assists with preparing marketing and advertising strategies, plans and objectives; planning and organizing promotional presentations; updating calendars
• Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering information and materials
• Plans concept by studying information and materials
• Illustrates concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts
• Obtains approval of concept by submitting rough layout for approval
• Prepares copy and initial art design for all jobs
• Prepares final layout by marking and pasting up finished copy and art
• Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer’s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment
• Completes projects by coordinating with outside vendors as needed
• Maintains technical knowledge by attending design workshops; reviewing professional publications; participating in professional societies
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Creates promotional materials and coordinates requirements with graphics with a MAC; insuring all assigned jobs are current and on time and proofing
• Researches competitive products by identifying and evaluating product characteristics, market share, pricing, and advertising, maintaining research database
• Responsible for implementing strategies set forth by management
• Coordinate photo shoots, radio remotes, and live TV spots as needed
• Produce high profile jobs
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; ready trade publications
• Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests
• Other duties and tasks as assigned
