Lead the design strategy for multiple product lines and drive cross-functional collaboration to ensure cohesive product development. Shape user experiences and innovate through an iterative design process while mentoring the design team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Design Strategy and Vision for Key Products: Take ownership of the design strategy for multiple product lines.
  • Drive Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster strong partnerships with researchers, content designers, product managers, engineers, and marketing teams.
  • Shape User Experience: Define and articulate our vision for core audiences, crafting user experiences that evolve with their needs.
  • Innovate and Iterate: Lead the end-to-end design process for evolving products.
  • Utilize Storytelling for Strategic Impact: Employ storytelling techniques to bridge user needs with business outcomes.
  • Enhance and Scale Design Systems: Contribute to the evolution and refinement of our design system.
  • Mentor and Elevate the Design Team: Lead design critiques and collaborative sessions.
  • Influence Product Success: Align design with business strategy to impact revenue growth and market share.
  • Establish Design as a Strategic Asset: Position design as a key differentiator for our brand.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Design / Human Factors or related field, with minimum of 10 years relevant work experience.
  • A sophisticated design sensibility with a refined eye for UI patterns, visual hierarchy, and strong visual execution.
  • Experience in creating, evolving, and maintaining design systems.
  • A robust portfolio showcasing recent work, especially consumer products.
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Ability to translate business goals and audience needs into impactful designs.
  • Strong prototyping and animation skills.
  • Passion for crafting engaging, intuitive, and visually appealing experiences.
  • Expertise in usability and accessibility.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
