Senior Product Designer, Insurance

The Senior Product Designer will craft intuitive tools for mental health providers to navigate insurance eligibility and claims processing. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver efficient and valuable solutions.
Responsibilities
- Partner closely with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, and Lead Product Designer to solve challenging problems in the insurance space.
 - Lead the design of scalable, intuitive user experiences across devices.
 - Apply service design and systems thinking to create higher-impact workflows.
 - Understand and advocate for user needs through research activities.
 - Share ideas through sketches, wireframes, prototypes, and design reviews.
 - Collaborate cross-functionally in a highly agile, iterative environment.
 - Contribute to Almaโs design system and best practices.
 
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in product design or user experience design, ideally within healthcare, fintech, or another highly complex domain.
 - A portfolio with case studies showcasing deep understanding of user needs, ability to translate complex systems into seamless experiences, and creative problem-solving.
 - Curious, ambitious, empathetic, and strategic designer who thrives in complexity.
 - Fluent in digital design and prototyping tools, especially Figma.
 - Comfortable working in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
 - Effective at context switching and building relationships.
 - Passionate about user research and accessibility/usability.
