Intern - UX Researcher - Summer 2026

Remote $30 - $46 Full-time Intern
Support research activities across Lumen’s Product & Marketing teams and assist in conducting user research. Collaborate with UX Designers, Product Managers, and Developers to analyze and summarize findings from research sessions.
Responsibilities
- Support research activities across Lumen’s Product & Marketing teams
- Collaborate with UX Designers, Product Managers, and Developers
- Assist in conducting user research including surveys, interviews, and usability testing
- Help analyze and summarize findings from research sessions
- Participate in team discussions to share insights and brainstorm design improvements
- Explore both qualitative and quantitative methods to understand user behavior and needs
Requirements
- Enrolled at a 4-year accredited college or university, rising senior level education status
- Graduating August 2026 – May 2028
- Preferred fields: Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Design, or related
- Curious about how people interact with technology
- Interested in learning how research improves user experiences
- Comfortable asking questions and eager to grow skills
- Good communicator and team player
- Familiar with basic UX concepts
- Some exposure to UX research methods
- Experience with tools like Figma, Miro, or survey platforms is a plus
