UX Designer (m/w/d)

The UX Designer will own critical product experiences, focusing on buyer and seller journeys and transaction flows. They will simplify complex marketplace dynamics and create scalable design patterns across multiple sports categories.

Responsibilities

• Owning critical product experiences—buyer and seller journeys, pre and post-transaction flows, across bikes, bike parts, and expanding sports categories
• Turning complexity into simplicity—making payments, shipping, trust, and protection feel effortless while handling sophisticated marketplace dynamics
• Defining scalable patterns—creating interaction models and design systems that work across multiple sports verticals
• Prototyping and testing ideas—moving between different fidelities to validate decisions quickly
• Collaborating cross-functionally—working closely with PMs, engineers, and customer service to define problems and ship solutions
• Exercising pragmatic judgment—knowing when 'good enough' ships value fast, and when exceptional craft is what the moment demands
• Contributing to design culture—mentoring teammates, pushing for excellence, and sharing knowledge across the team

Requirements

• Has shipped e-commerce or marketplace products
• Designs across surfaces—desktop, mobile and app
• Balances speed and detail—knows when to move fast and when to obsess over the last 1%
• Thinks in systems—considers scalability and long-term implications in every decision
• Masters Figma and design systems—you're fluent in creating and maintaining scalable design architecture
• Understands data and research—comfortable interpreting quantitative insights and user feedback to inform decisions
• Has proven AI experience—you've integrated AI tools into your design process and understand their potential
• Operates with extreme ownership—solves problems at all costs, steps into bigger responsibilities without being asked
• Collaborates with humility—takes feedback well, challenges ideas respectfully, and checks ego at the door
