Onsite $100,000 - $150,000 Full-time Senior

The Principal Graphic Designer will lead the development and execution of graphical content for medical device labeling products. This includes collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with medical regulations and brand guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the Neuroscience labeling team in developing and executing project timelines for programs that impact or include creation of labeling graphical content
  • Collaborates with departmental and cross-functional peers to ensure proper resolution to graphic-related questions and issues during the development process
  • Utilizes Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Content Management system software as it relates to the relevant labeling-related content creation
  • Conceives, designs, lays out, and coordinates editorial illustrations and creative artwork
  • Develops interpretive themes that convey ideas and information
  • Creates graphic presentations that communicate mood, emphasis, insight, viewpoint, and similar visual impressions
  • Uses and provides guidance on graphic technology
  • Works closely with internal company contacts to understand requirements and create cost efficient graphic designs through available mediums
  • May provide computer graphic services for web artwork
  • May also have input on reproduction and printing processes through in-house resources or outside vendors

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent with 10+ years of relevant experience in graphic design or equivalent experience OR Associate's Degree with 8+ years experience OR Baccalaureate Degree with 6+ years experience
  • Self-directed and highly organized
  • Cross-functional collaborative nature: strong collaboration and communication skills to work with diverse teams
  • Product Lifecycle Management software experience
  • Content Management software experience
  • Working in a federally regulated environment (FDA)
  • European Union Medical Device Regulation (EUMDR)
  • Medical device labeling-related experience
  • Familiar with the principles of neuromodulation
  • Familiar with product development workflow
  • Familiar with product branding principles
  • Familiar with digital media creation
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
