The Graphic Designer will design and prepare moderately complex artworks and copy layouts while collaborating with project managers and other team members. They will also produce reproduction-ready visual graphics and modify existing artwork as required.
Responsibilities
- Designs and prepare moderately-complex artworks and copy layouts
- Works directly with the Project Managers, Designers, Technical Writers/Editors and/or the authors/requestors
- Recommend improvements for accuracy of expression, clarity, and consistency with Company or Clients’ styles
- Designs and produces reproduction-ready visual graphics
- Modifies existing artwork as required
- Serves as part of a functional team to complete assignments according to schedule
- Preparing presentations and graphic layouts
Requirements
- Associate's or equivalent degree in Graphic Design or certificate of completion from an accredited design/graphics course
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in graphic design
- Technical competence in software such as Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Acrobat, After Effects and Microsoft
- Familiarity and interest in engineering, environmental, construction or architecture projects
- Strong communication skills
- Technical visualization expertise
- Expert PowerPoint presentation design skills
Key Skills
