The Graphic Designer will work on a wide range of projects and media, collaborating with multiple teams to create innovative graphic designs that meet business goals. They will also update and maintain an internal repository of artwork and work with outside agencies for marketing needs.
Responsibilities
- Work on a wide range of projects and media, using various software programs to visualize and develop innovative graphic designs
- Collaborate, brainstorm, and strategize with multiple teams or clients
- Obtain input from others to ensure that designs meet organizational standards and brand expectations
- Work with subject matter experts (SMEs)/engineers to create explanatory graphics for government bids and proposals
- Work independently as well as cooperatively with marketing team
- Examine existing processes, identify areas of improvement, and create solutions that improve workflows capabilities
- Update and maintain internal repository of artwork, designs, photography, and video assets
- Research, identify and work with outside agencies/vendors for fulfillment needs for marketing merchandise, signs, banners, mailers, etc.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in professional graphics design, preferably in a corporate or defense industry setting
- US citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
- Proficiency in Adobe Create Suite and Microsoft Office Suite
- Proven experience in creating a variety of marketing materials
- Strong portfolio showcasing creative design solutions and a keen understanding of typography, color, and layout design
- Strong understanding of online and print design needs
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Photography experience and equipment is a plus
- Video production and post-production experience is a plus
