Graphic Designer

The Graphic Designer will design and prepare University publications for printing and develop digital design solutions for on-campus clients. This role is essential in maintaining brand consistency across all University communications while supporting University marketing strategies.

Responsibilities

• Create and design materials for print publication and digital collateral
• Work with vendors to provide technical information needed in bid process; oversees production of printed matter from design idea through to delivery of printed pieces; assesses quality of printed materials

Requirements

• Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
• Ability to perform multiple tasks and keep deadlines with minimum supervision
• Ability to communicate effectively with vendors and campus departments
• Good reading and writing skills
• Demonstrated experience with Adobe Creative Suite, typing, proofreading, knowledge of pre-press and printing procedures and language, familiarity with a variety of printing papers, design skills, office procedures and communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in graphic design or art and related work experience preferred
