Senior Product Designer, Lighting and Graphics

Act as the design visionary for the Lighting and Graphics area, defining strategic opportunities to improve workflows for artists, designers, and developers. Collaborate with cross-functional partners to shape the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with user needs and business goals.
Responsibilities
- Act as the design visionary for the Lighting and Graphics area
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to shape the product roadmap
- Design and deliver scalable, intuitive workflows
- Conduct advanced design research and synthesize insights
- Drive consistency and design excellence across all graphics-related tools
- Produce and iterate on concepts, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs
- Serve as a mentor and thought leader for the design team
- Act as an advocate for Unity’s users
- Partner with engineering to define and integrate complex systems
Requirements
- Portfolio of work demonstrating exceptional design craft for game engine tools, desktop applications, and/or web applications
- Proven experience designing for technical software
- Track record of strategic impact in driving design initiatives
- Strong ability to navigate and simplify complex systems
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills
- Experience leveraging data, research, and user insights
- Experience leading design initiatives in large-scale or enterprise-level organizations
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide junior designers
