As a Product Designer II, you will own the end-to-end design process and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver intuitive solutions. You will also contribute to improving design processes and maintain the design system's quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end design process from discovery to implementation, such as planning quantitative/qualitative research, aligning design with product strategy, and collecting feedback
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering partners to define and prioritize solutions, and regularly engage with customer-facing teams (e.g. Program Management, Customer Support) to untangle complex technical and user experience dependencies
- Use data-driven decision-making to identify key user insights and behaviours, and socialise findings to influence product development and strategy
- Contribute to improvements of our design processes and ways of working for cross-functional teams to scale our Design team’s impact
- Improve the consistency and accessibility of our user experience by helping maintain our design system’s component library, tokens, and quality standards
Requirements
- Have a user-centric and analytical mindset with a proven practice of leveraging user feedback and data insights to inform design decisions
- Demonstrate a history of shipping features with a high bar for craft
- Build effective partnerships with Product and Engineering and proactively engage with prioritisation, planning, and product/design strategy
- Are self-organised, curious, and documentation-forward
- Are passionate about solving climate challenges
- Have 2-5 years experience working for a B2C or B2B2C product, mobile app experience preferred
- Bonus: Experience with design tokens and design systems
