As a Staff Product Designer, you will create user-centered designs that address customer needs while collaborating with product and engineering teams. You will also unify AI-related projects into a cohesive experience for customers.
Responsibilities
- Create world-class, user-centered designs and experiences solving for customer needs, delivering on business requirements, and leveraging future trends
- Use understanding of user-centered design processes and ability to create prototypes and high quality design work to drive product design in agile, cross-functional teams
- Operate as a 'Co-Founder' within the cross-functional product team by identifying and validating user problems, producing inventive solutions, and shipping meaningful product updates
- Unite multiple AI-related projects into a cohesive portfolio and end-to-end experience for customers via collaboration with design system teams, engineers, and product management teams
- Deliver tested solutions via participation in user research, product discovery & testing
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional experience in product design as an IC design lead
- Outstanding portfolio demonstrating design and product strategy across web-based and native applications
- Experience using design thinking methodologies & UCD processes in large organizations
- Hands-on experience in generative research, storyboarding, user-journey mapping, competitive analysis, prototyping, qualitative interviews, and quantitative testing
- Ability to synthesize ambiguity and bring industry trends, research, team insights, business priorities, and partner feedback into actionable UX strategy and design execution
- Experience designing AI interfaces or other experience designing with emerging technologies
