Design end-to-end experiences that help users understand and engage with ChatGPT. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to run experiments and implement impactful design improvements.
Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end experiences that help people understand, trust, and return to ChatGPT
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and content design to run experiments and ship high-impact improvements
- Translate complex AI capabilities into clear, intuitive interfaces that lower barriers to entry
- Use data and research to guide decisions, while knowing when to trust your instincts
- Contribute to the evolution of OpenAI’s design systems and voice
- Help establish our design culture and grow our team
Requirements
- Strong portfolio showing thoughtful product design, with experience in growth, onboarding, or consumer-facing products
- Comfortable working in fast cycles—sketching, prototyping, and testing ideas quickly
- Ability to balance qualitative insights with quantitative data
- Excellent communication skills, with a collaborative mindset
- Genuine curiosity about AI and its impact on user behavior
