Senior Product Designer

Lead the end-to-end design process for core product features, ensuring they meet user needs and business goals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape product strategy and conduct user research to inform design decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead End-to-End Design: Own the design process from discovery through delivery for core product features and workflows.
• Collaborate Across Product & Engineering: Partner closely with product managers, engineers, and data analysts to shape product strategy and define requirements.
• Conduct Research and Synthesise Insights: Lead and conduct user research, usability testing, and stakeholder interviews to deeply understand customer needs and pain points.
• Champion a Scalable Design System: Contribute to and maintain a robust design system that ensures consistency, accessibility, and scalability across the product suite.
• Data-Informed Decision Making: Leverage usage data and behavioral analytics to validate and iterate on designs.
• Drive Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to refine user journeys and reduce friction across key product experiences.
• Advocate for the User: Serve as the voice of the user in product discussions and roadmap planning.
• Mentor and Share Knowledge: Provide feedback to designers and contribute to team design critiques and knowledge sharing sessions.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience in product design, UX/UI, or interaction design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design work.
• Strong foundation in UX principles, visual design, information architecture, and interaction design.
• Comfortable working through ambiguity, taking ownership of identifying problems and creating solutions.
• Proficient in conducting and applying insights from user research and usability testing.
• Comfortable working with product metrics and behavioral analytics to inform design decisions.
• Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional partners in product management, engineering, and data.
• Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills - able to articulate design rationale clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Comfortable facilitating workshops, design sprints, and stakeholder presentations.
• Ability to think at a systems level and connect the dots across user journeys, business goals, and technical constraints.
• Experience working in agile or lean environments, contributing to product strategy and roadmap discussions.
• Track record of identifying design opportunities that enhance the product and create business value.
• Proven ability to mentor designers, give and receive feedback, and help foster a collaborative team environment.
• Demonstrated ownership of complex projects and ability to drive them to completion with minimal oversight.
• Advocacy for inclusive, accessible, and ethical design practices.
