Web Designer

A Web Designer at Consultwebs is responsible for developing and executing design concepts that align with client branding and creative strategy.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the creative strategy on design projects by creating concepts, wireframes and style guides as required for each project
• Contributes to improving internal documentation for Design best practices and current design strategies
• Reviews proposed designs, offers feedback and creative direction, aligned with best practices
• Meets and monitors due dates for each project they are working on; provides regular status updates
• Creates, monitors, and ensures delivery of projects and tasks in a timely manner as requested by the Production Lead
• Ensures the quality of coded sites and reviews prior to sending to clients (or have designers review their own work; based on a per project basis)

Requirements

• 2-5+ years UI design experience at an agency or similar
• Extensive experience with Figma, Photoshop, and Illustrator, specifically with mock-ups and web design
• Experience with responsive design and grid-based layouts
• Familiarity with print design
• Great art, design, and creative skills
• Ability to apply constructive criticism from peers and clients
• Ability to speak comfortably and professionally in team meetings and presentations
