Senior Product Designer

Vise is hiring a Product Designer to innovate and enhance their user experience, working closely with cross-functional teams in their NYC office.

Responsibilities

• Own your design process; end to end.
• Cross-functional outcomes with engineering, product, and business teams to understand problems, define goals and research requirements, map out user journeys, prototype and launch new features and functionality.
• Design strategy, continuously advocating for user needs and contributing to the evolution of our design system.
• User research and testing from concept to usability.
• Maintaining the standard for Design @ Vise, from culture, to process, to quality.
• Explore new ways to educate our users on Vise’s investment philosophy.
• PLG initiatives to drive scale and expansion.
• Improvements within existing core user flows to provide advisors with a best-in-class experience.
• Improve and scale existing suite of AI products.
• Iterate on Vise’s visual style and contribute new patterns and components to our ever-evolving design system.
• Work with the rest of the team to set overall company direction, sales strategy, and hiring goals.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of product design experience.
• Cross-functional partnership with an iterative design process.
• Comfortable accepting and implementing feedback.
• Clear vision and track record of successfully implementing designs.
• Able to get buy-in from stakeholders in product, engineering, and sales.
• Experience turning abstract ideas into compelling product experiences.
• Applied research, usability tests, and performance metrics to inform design decisions.
• Strong understanding of usability and user experience principles.
• Skilled storyteller who can translate complex ideas into clear, concise narratives.
• Self-starter who can identify and solve design problems.
