Senior Product Designer

Document Crunch is seeking a Senior Product Designer to lead design initiatives that blend human-centered design, accessibility, and AI innovation for the construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design solutions, from research and concept through to delivery and refinement.
• Create fully responsive, high-fidelity designs for web and mobile that align with our brand and accessibility standards.
• Ensure WCAG 2.1 AA compliance, enabling inclusive experiences for all users.
• Leverage AI-powered design and prototyping tools to enhance creativity and streamline workflows (Figma, Lovable, Fullstory, etc.).
• Conduct usability testing to validate design decisions and continuously improve user flows.
• Work closely with Product, Engineering, and AI teams to bring innovative features to market.
• Communicate design decisions clearly, advocating for user needs and aligning stakeholders around shared goals.
• Contribute to design system evolution, ensuring consistency and scalability across the platform.
• Champion user empathy, ensuring the voice of the customer is reflected throughout the design process.
• Synthesize insights from usability tests, analytics, and customer feedback to drive product improvements.
• Stay ahead of emerging design and AI trends, proactively introducing new tools and methods to the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Communication Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, or related field.
• 5+ years of product design experience, ideally within SaaS or B2B environments.
• Ability to be in our Austin office at least one day per week.
• Portfolio showcasing responsive, high-fidelity product design work with measurable impact.
• Proficiency with modern design tools (e.g., Figma) and familiarity with AI-assisted design workflows.
• Strong grasp of user-centered design principles and usability testing methodologies.
• Working knowledge of WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
• Self-starter mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Passion for AI, emerging technologies, and continuous innovation in design.
• Experience with systems design.
